Listening Sessions Presents Rupture Vs Skutta – Round 2

Back for some more action! We are really happy to once again be hosting two of our favourite drum and bass brands – The mighty Rupture and local heavyweights Skutta Records.

Building on the huge success of the last event, Skutta Records once again join forces with the mighty Rupture crew to bring another breakbeat fuelled night of goodness to PST Digbeth.

Once again we bring some of the heavyweights of the true sound of drum and bass – this time the Rupture camp provide their trademark sound with Double O, Mantra and Threshold, alongside support from the big guns in the form of Digital, Overlook and the dubbed out sounds of Canada’s Rumbleton. Skutta Records bring Italian breakbeat scientist Future Roots as well as veteran beat renegade Headgear, label bosses LA Johnson and Baddesley and local boy wonder Slaine to round off a lineup packed to the rafters with incredible forward thinking music. The almighty Creative Hertz BINARY soundsystem will be in full effect once again in the newly air conditioned main room, making sure every ribcage in the building will be rattling!

The legendary PST Rooftop will be hosted by the Listening Sessions crew once again, with a roster comprised of some of Birmingham’s finest up and coming underground artists encompassing a range of genres providing an authentic snapshot of the cutting edge of Birmingham’s electronic music scene. Chef Wally will also be serving up authentic Jamaican food on the rooftop terrace all night long to help you keep your stamina levels high for a night of relentless dancing!
