Here are some words by On1 about his Birmingham based label – Serene City Records:

“Serene City Records formally Concrete Collective (est. 2014), are a digital based, multi-genre record label operating from Birmingham, England, working with a mixture of local and international talent. The first release on Serene City Records was a free compilation LP entitled “All Vibes, No Ego’s” featuring up and coming producers such as Rusky, Vibez, Cyte, Blacktip, label boss Made and many more. After building a solid base to progress from with the free compilation, Serene City Records teamed up with Spanish producers BSN Posse, and American singer Sarah Burns, to release “Just Give Me A Night” in the summer of 2014. The year continued in a busy fashion, featuring quality EP’s from The Muskets, Smeti and Rusky. 2015 proved to be another productive year for the label as they added to the hype of their releases by launching a new bi-monthly event, Serene Sound, an intimate live show with limited attendees that was streamed online for their growing, international fanbase. Alongside this new dimension to the label they continued to release new material from the likes of Crystal Catcha, Docka, AddRift, Luke. Anthony, Honey T and more.””
