The latest release from Birmingham’s Alternative Architecture is a 3 track EP from Analias and it’s worth taking note of. Having released his extremely impressive first album Greyist Hits Vol. 1 late in 2016, he has now returned with something lighter. From years of being involved with Birmingham’s electronic music scene through his event Movement, where he brought a serious collection of artists to perform in our city; Analias has a well-travelled sound. Alternative Architecture Vol 4 is more dance floor friendly compared to his last release, yet this still retains a similar sophisticated, deep and sombre character. Drawing from House, 2-step and more obscure electronic textures, whether you are a DJ or a listener, I suggest you have this in your digital record box.
