Local beatmaker Kouben is dishing out this awesome remix of Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me” for free!

In his usual Brainfeeder-inspired style, this takes the original and adds the wonky feel we are used to hearing from Kouben’s productions alongside lazy analogue synths and a space-age sounding vocal, giving this mix a similar laid back, summery vibe as the original, but with a sci-fi spin.

As part of the Birmingham collective Beat Circle, Kouben provided some awesome music last night at the Wagon and Horses for their first event. This was a wicked end to the weekend and is highly recommended by us here at Listening Sessions – it’s great to see something like this happening in Birmingham!
